Data Dimensions to open new data center in Iowa

Janesville-based Data Dimensions will move its Clinton, Iowa, plant to a new state-of-the-art data center.

The new, high-security building in Clinton is home to business process outsourcing (BPO) facility. At 29, 412 square feet, it is nearly twice the size of the company’s previous Clinton facility, with room to accommodate up to 450 employees.

The opening of the new Clinton facility will not have an impact on the company’s Janesville operations.

“We’re excited not only about the new building, but also to be bringing nearly 120 new jobs to Clinton within the next 90 days,” said Data Dimensions president and chief executive officer Jon Boumstein.

Data Dimensions chairman Mark Bush added, “Our Clinton, Iowa, team has performed at the highest level for over 25 years. Our operations manager, Nikki Hardin, has done an excellent job keeping up with the growth, and with her continued leadership and this new facility, we are ready to take it to the next level.”

The new facility will allow the company to accommodate significant new business awarded as well as future growth. The company has already grown an unprecedented 100 percent over the past year and a half. An increase of another 50 percent is expected in 2014.

The company will be fully operational in the new building by Monday, Nov. 18.
