CSA Commercial, a commercial real estate brokerage, investment, and development firm with offices in Milwaukee and Sheboygan, announced today it has named Brian Taffora, former director of economic development of Milwaukee County, as vice president.
“It is a rare opportunity when someone with Brian’s level of talent and integrity becomes available. He has demonstrated an extraordinary aptitude throughout his career for business and economic development and we are thrilled to welcome him to CSA Commercial,” said Steve Mech, president of CSA Commercial.
Taffora left his previous position after the Milwaukee County Board refused to waive its county residency requirement for county employees.
Prior to leading Milwaukee County’s Economic Development Division, Taffora led the Wisconsin Business Council, a state-wide, non-partisan business association that worked closely with major Wisconsin employers and elected officials to create a business climate that encouraged job growth and economic development.
CSA Commercial was established to acquire, operate and reposition commercial real estate and is focused on projects with civic dividends.
