Brookfield-based Connecture Inc. named Vincent Estrada as its new chief financial officer on Tuesday, filling a void created by James Purko’s departure at the end of 2016.
Estrada joins Connecture, a provider of web-based information systems used to create health insurance marketplaces, from Missouri-based HealthMEDX, an electronic medical record developer. Estrada was CFO and executive vice president of business development at HealthMEDX.
Connecture said Estrada’s experience over the last 25 years was in helping health care companies enhance performance and create shareholder value.
“We are thrilled to welcome Vince as our new CFO. I’m confident that his leadership skills and past success in building strong companies will be a great addition to supporting Connecture’s growth initiatives and near-term profitability targets as we continue to build our business,” said Jeff Surges, Connecture president and chief executive officer. “Vince’s enthusiasm and deep health care experience and background will help progress Connecture to the next phase.”
Estrada will serve as Connecture’s principal financial and accounting officer, along with leading finance, accounting and investor relations functions.
“The health care industry has been on an incredible journey of transformation in recent years,” said Estrada.”I look forward to working with this innovative team which has been at the center of this transformation every step of the way – empowering people to make smarter decisions about their health coverage.”
