What does your daily or weekly fitness regimen consist of?
- Minimum of 30 minutes of some exercise/day.
- Running, eliptical, biking plus weights minimum of 4 times per week.
- Tae Bo mixed in as well.

Other than the obvious health benefits, how has being fit improved your life?
Provides the energy I need to get through life! Allows me to be sharper mentally as well as ahead of the curve physically.
How does personal fitness affect your work life?
Working out at the end of the day (for me) guarantees a positive ending to a day that may not have been so positive. I have control over this part of my day which allows me to end it on a good note; even after a day of situations which I can’t control.

How does fitness or wellness affect your overall organization?
Teamwork in the office is hugely affected when the team also works together on their fitness. There are common interests and lots of moral support. On the opposite spectrum, when people are not taking care of themselves, energy, creativity and overall morale are down… and it’s obvious for everyone.
What advice do you have for other executives interested in starting either a personal fitness plan or corporate wellness initiative?
Get feedback from others for either what works or doesn’t work, or for what others are motivated by to improve their health. As with anything, if the idea only comes from one or two people at the top, without any input, it’s only an idea rather than a realistic goal and you won’t have buy-in.
