Chambers to host forum with senate candidates

Local community Chambers of Commerce will host a forum featuring Ron Johnson, and Dave Westlake; Republican candidates for the U.S. Senate seat on Monday, June 21 at the Marcus Majecstic Cinema, 770 N. Springdale Road in Waukesha from 8 to 10 a.m.  Participating chambers include Brookfield, Delafield, Hartland, Menomonee Falls, Mukwonago, Muskego, New Berlin, Oconomowoc, Pewaukee, and Sussex.
The forum will be moderated by Steve Walters, senior producer at WisconsinEye. Candidates will have three minutes to provide an opening statement and will have timed response time for each question, which will be collected prior to the event.
Those interested can submit questions to any participating Chamber of Commerce via email.
The event is free to attend, but space is limted to 170 people, said Muskego Chamber of Commerce representative, Kathy Chiaverotti.
Guests must pre-register for the event by Friday, June 18 by visiting any of the chamber of commerce websites. Questions can be submitted to info@muskego.org.
