The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's new Innovation Campus in Wauwatosa will have high-speed computing resources under a new partnership between the UWM Foundation and the Milwaukee Institute.

The Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. and the University of Wisconsin-Extension Center for Technology Commercialization have awarded grants from the Ideadvance Seed Fund to 11 startups, including seven from the Milwaukee area.

The Water Council will receive $225,000 from a $30 million grant program facilitated by JPMorgan Chase & Co. through its Small Business Forward initiative.
