Kenosha shopping center sold for $12.85 million

Glenwood Crossings, an 87,504-square-foot shopping center in Kenosha, was sold by Northbrook, Ill.-based Cloverleaf Group to Cincinnati-based Phillips Edison for $12.85 million, or $146.85 per square foot, according to state records.

Groundbreaking planned in August for office building at former Pabst brewery

Blue Ribbon Management LLC plans to break ground soon on two developments at the former Pabst brewery in downtown Milwaukee: an office building and an apartment building for international college students, said Blue Ribbon CEO Tom Gehl. Financing from foreign investors is in place for the office building but federal approval for similar financing for the apartment building has been delayed.

Second phase of North End now 70% leased

Mandel Group Inc. says the second phase of its North End development, located along the Milwaukee River on the north side of downtown Milwaukee, is already 70 percent leased, another sign of the strength of the downtown apartment market.

Grafton office tower sold

West Falls Center LLC, led by investor Brian Nelson, recently purchased the seven-story, 42,000-square-foot office building at 101 Falls Road in Grafton from Chicago area investor Mike Thiakos.

Despite legislation, parks group threatens lawsuit to block The Couture

Parks advocacy group Preserve Our Parks this week sent a letter to Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele threatening to file a lawsuit to prevent development of The Couture, a proposed 44-story mixed use building, on the current site of Milwaukee County's Downtown Transit Center, located southwest of Lincoln Memorial Drive and Michigan Street near the lakefront.

Abele to veto Innovation Park hotel development agreement

Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele plans to veto the development agreement approved last week by the County Board for an extended stay hotel at the Innovation Park development in Wauwatosa in an attempt to eliminate wage requirements for the project, Abele spokesman Brendan Conway said.

Colliers to move Milwaukee office to Irgens’ proposed office tower

Colliers International|Wisconsin and Inland Companies today announced plans to move its Milwaukee offices from the former Pabst brewery complex in downtown Milwaukee to the 17-story office tower proposed by Wauwatosa-based Irgens at 833 E. Michigan St. in downtown Milwaukee.
