Charles Kamps, a board member of parks advocacy group Preserve Our Parks, said the group will file a lawsuit if Milwaukee County sells the Downtown Transit Center property to developer Rick Barrett.

Oak Creek-based Joseph Campione Inc., a manufacturer of Italian bread products, recently purchased the former CSM Bakery Products building at 7350 S. 10th St. for $1.5 million, according to state records. The property sold for well below its assessed value of $2.7 million.

Greendale-based Custom Fabricating and Supplies, a supplier of masking products such as powder coating tape discs for industrial applications, recently purchased a 30,000-square-foot industrial building at 5500 W. Oakwood Park Dr. in Franklin for $1.3 million, according to state records.
