MADISON- Alliant to conduct multi-year solar-energy project

Alliant Energy will study solar energy generation in Madison in a multi-year project.
Construction on the project’s $5 million first phase started Monday on the 25 acres of land that houses Alliant’s 326,000-square-foot headquarters and is expected to be complete by year’s end.
