A new nonprofit has been formed by the board of Bradley Center Sports & Entertainment Corp. to support the services, programs and capital needs of the BMO Harris Bradley Center as the community evaluates its future.
Wells Fargo donates $150,000 toward neighborhood revitalization
Wells Fargo Bank has contributed a $150,000 grant to a joint project between ACTS Housing and Rebuilding Together of Greater Milwaukee that aims to breathe new life into distressed neighborhoods and give low-income income residents and families a chance to become homeowners.
Neighborhood House Executive Director to retire
Richard Cox, executive director of Neighborhood House of Milwaukee, will retire at the end of April, according to an announcement the nonprofit made this week.

The YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee welcomed about 600 community and state leaders to its 17th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast on Jan. 20 at the Wisconsin Center. The breakfast, presented by Harley-Davidson Motor Company, honored the legacy of Dr. King with speeches from Gov. Scott Walker, Mayor Tom Barrett and County Executive Chris Abele. Grant to help rehab foreclosed properties
A $100,000 Greater Milwaukee Foundation grant has boosted ACTS Housing’s capacity to help low-income families purchase and renovate vacant and vandalized foreclosures in Milwaukee’s inner-city neighborhoods.
