BMA Milwaukee names new directors

The Business Marketing Association Milwaukee chapter has named its board of directors for the 2014-’15 program year.

Kalmbach names Savage publisher

Waukesha-based Kalmbach Publishing Co. has named Mark Savage publisher.
Savage previously served as associate publisher for American Snowmobiler, Classic Toy Trains, FineScale Modeler and Scale Auto. He will now oversee those four magazine brands.

Quad/Graphics narrows loss in 2Q

Sussex-based Quad/Graphics Inc. reported a second quarter net loss of $22.8 million, or 48 cents lost per share, compared to $27.6 million, or 59 cents lost per share, in the second quarter of 2013.

Scripps reports 2Q loss

The E.W. Scripps Co., new parent of local TV station WTMJ-Channel 4 and radio stations AM 620-WTMJ and FM 94.5-WLWK, today reported a second quarter net loss of $3.4 million, or 6 cents per share, compared to net income of $3.9 million, or five cents per share, in the second quarter of 2013.
