Joy Global lags on equipment sales
Milwaukee-based Joy Global Inc. today reported fiscal first quarter net earnings of $48.8 million, or 48 cents per share, down from $142.1 million, or $1.34 per share, in the first quarter of 2013.
Tramont files for reorganization
Milwaukee-based Tramont Corp. announced today that it has filed a petition to reorganize under Chapter 128 of state statutes, which is similar to Chapter 11 of the federal bankruptcy law. The petition was filed this week in Milwaukee County Circuit Court.
