Neighborhood Stabilization fund replenished

Five banks with a local presence have contributed $2.5 million in capital to a loan pool that will fund the City of Milwaukee’s Neighborhood Stabilization Program efforts.

Cooper Power to move Pewaukee production to Mexico

Cleveland-based Eaton Corp. has announced it will lay off 130 hourly production employees and 33 salaried employees at its Pewaukee Cooper Power Systems Division facility as it outsources production to Mexico. The facility manufactures line installation and protective equipment.

Harley earnings rev up

Milwaukee-based Harley-Davidson Inc. reported first quarter net income of $224.1 million, or 99 cents per share, up from $172 million, or 74 cents per share, in the same quarter a year ago.
