Machine Tool Show will highlight survival strategies for manufacturers

Manufacturers, distributors and their suppliers are invited to the biannual Wisconsin Machine Tool Show, to be held Oct. 6-8 at the Wisconsin Expo Center at State Fair Park, 8200 W. Greenfield Ave.

The event will feature a trade show and numerous seminars where attendees can learn survival strategies for today’s tough economy, how to gain entry into new markets, the principals of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement, and the benefits of digital prototyping, five-axis machining and water jet cutting.

This year’s Machine Tool Show will also feature a series of seminars focusing on energy efficiency, which will highlight controlling energy costs, supplying to alternative energy producers, and opportunities to tap into federal stimulus dollars.

The event will include more than 200 exhibitors, who will demonstrate the newest machine tools and systems.
