- Dead Man’s Carnival New Year’s Eve Show 10 p.m. at Miramar Theatre, 2844 N. Oakland Ave. Cost is $15 to attend.
- The Harlem Globetrotters visit the Bradley Center. Shows at 1 and 6 p.m. Tickets are $20.50 each.
- New Year’s Eve Under Glass at the Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory, 524 S. Layton Blvd. Enjoy live music, comedians, magicians and more. Cost to attend is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
- Major Goolsby’s and Race Against Childhood Cancer’s Run into the New Year 5K race beginning at the Tommy Thompson Youth Center in State Fair Park at 12 p.m. Cost to race is $35.
- Carribean- themed New Year’s part at Potawatomi Bingo Casino beginning at 6 p.m. Event is free to attend.
- Polar Bear Plunge at Bradford Beach, 2400 N. Lincoln Memorial Dr. at 12 p.m.
