*Saturday, Nov. 16, Newaukee will present “Explore @ Braise,” a cooking demonstration that will teach participants how to prepare appetizers for upcoming holiday parties. The demonstration will run from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Braise, located at 1101 S. 2nd St. in Milwaukee. Cost to attend is $35 for individuals and $60 for couples. To purchase tickets, click here.

*Saturday, Nov. 16, the Milwaukee Bucks challenge the Oklahoma City Thunder in a 7:30 p.m. game at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, located at 1001 N. 4th St. in Milwaukee. The game will be themed “Country Night” with a live band during pre-game, a mechanical bull, country music, happy hour specials starting at 6:30 p.m. and more. A Bucks Country and Western ticket package is available for Bucks fans. Patrons who purchase a regular priced ticket to Country Night will receive a free ticket to a separate Bucks game against another Western Conference opponent of their choice. *Monday, Nov. 18, the Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corporation (WWBIC) will hold a class on “Exploring Entrepreneurship – Do You Have What It Takes?” The free class will cover what personal considerations to make in launching a business, how to collect market research, and how to determine if a business model is financially sustainable. Participants will learn if entrepreneurship is the right career path for them. The class will run from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Milwaukee Public Central Library, located at 814 W. *Wednesday, Nov. 20, the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) will host a free MMAC member orientation. The information session will help participants understand the tools, resources and support available to them through MMAC membership. The event will also include time for networking and is open to new MMAC members, prospective members and long-time members. The orientation will run from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. in the Wisconsin Room of the MMAC Offices, located at 756 N. Milwaukee St. Ste. 400 in Milwaukee. Space is limited.
