- Friday, Dec. 3 Pantheon BC will host a seminar entitled “Reinventing Your Business for the Next Decade,” from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at U.S. Bank building in Brookfield Square, 205 N. Mooreland Road. The seminar will examine how companies can adapt to a changed marketplace by developing a defined mission, vision and management strategy. - Tuesday, Dec. 7 The Granville-Brown Deer Chamber of commerce will host a regional transit and economic development symposium entitled, “Do Improved Transit Options = More Jobs?” at the Brown Deer High School Multicultural Center, 8060 N. 60th St., from 7:30 to 10 a.m. The symposium will give attendees the opportunity to learn and discuss with experts what the future of transit options could mean for employment in the southeastern Wisconsin region. Panelists will include: Ken Yunker of SEWRPC on importance of long term planning; Reggie Newson of Wisconsin Dept.of Transportation on Existing and Planned Road Projects for the general area; Donna Brown of Wisconsin Dept. Of Transportation on High Speed Rail Initiative, Martha Brown from City of Milwaukee Dept. of City Development to discuss area plans aspects relating to the topic; Damon Dorsey , the new Director of Economic Development at Milwaukee County will provide some planning and project related aspects for the targeted area, and Nate Piotrowski, planner Village of Brown Deer.
