*Thursday, July 9, through Sunday, July 12, Bastille Days will return to Milwaukee. The free French festival, held in Cathedral Square in downtown Milwaukee, will offer patrons live music, an international marketplace, cooking and wine demonstrations, French and Cajun cuisine, and a 43-foot Eiffel Tower with hourly light shows. The festival will kick into high gear on Thursday evening with the traditional Storm the Bastille 5K, scheduled to start at 9 p.m. The fest will run from 11 a.m. to midnight on Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to midnight on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. *Tuesday, July 14, “Chill on the Hill” will feature live music performed by Urban Empress and The UrbanItes. “Chill on the Hill” is a free weekly music series that brings live music acts to Humboldt Park in Bay View each Tuesday evening. The music kicks off at 6 p.m. The summer series, presented by the Bay View Neighborhood Association, runs through Tuesday, Sept. 1. *Thursday, July 16, East Town Association will hold another “Jazz in the Park” concert with a double feature. The free outdoor music series, presented by Boston Store and Columbia St. Mary’s, brings live jazz to Cathedral Square in downtown Milwaukee. Concerts are held each Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. The music kicks off at 6 p.m. with a happy hour scheduled for 5 p.m. The next show will showcase the music of Streetlife featuring Warren Wiegratz and No BS! *Friday, July 17, through Sunday, July 19, the Milwaukee Brewers will take on the Pittsburgh Pirates at home games at Miller Park, located at 1 Brewers Way in Milwaukee.
