*Thursday, Oct. 18, the Waukesha County Business Alliance will host the Annual Multi-Chamber Networking Event from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield Hotel, 375 S. Moorland Road in Brookfield. The event, presented by the Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce, will bring together members of 11 Waukesha County chambers for networking. *Thursday, Oct. 18, through Sunday, Oct. 21, the Milwaukee Ballet will perform La Boheme, known as “the City of Love’s most famous love story.” The ballet production, directed by Michael Pink, is converted from an opera. Each ballet performance will be held at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, 929 N. Water Street in Milwaukee. *Friday, Oct. 19, the Southside Business Council will hold its monthly meeting from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at Culver’s, 840 W. Sunset Drive in Waukesha. The meeting, held in association with the Waukesha County Business Alliance, will feature the theme “The Role of Waukesha County Political Leaders in a Presidential Election Year.” The meeting is open to member businesses and is free to attend. *Friday, Oct. 19, the national Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour will make its way to Milwaukee thanks to BizStarts Milwaukee and Alverno College. The tour coaches college students on starting their own businesses and is free and open to all southeastern Wisconsin college students. The event, which includes panels, workshops and networking, is scheduled for 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Alverno College Commons, 3400 S. 43rd Street in Milwaukee. *Friday, Oct. 19, through Saturday, Oct. 27, magician David Seebach will perform his annual Halloween-themed magic show, “Illusions in the Night,” at the Greenfield Performing Arts Center, 4850 S. 60th Street in Greenfield. The show is family-friendly and encourages attendees to dress up in costumes. Tickets can currently be purchased online and are also available at the box office. Tickets cost $25 for adults and $15 for children and senior citizens. For an additional $5, audience members can meet Seebach’s tiger, Sabrina, after the show. *Friday, Oct. 26, and Saturday, Oct. 27, Present Music, Milwaukee Ballet Company and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Peck School will come together to perform new dance works to live music. The show is titled “FALL(ing).” The performances are scheduled for 8 p.m. both Friday and Saturday night at the Helen Bader Concert Hall on UWM’s campus, 2419 E. Kenwood Boulevard in Milwaukee. Adult tickets range from $20 to $30, prices for attendees under age 18 range from $10 to $15, and student prices also range from $10 to $15.
