Brewers contest invites fans to design team uniform

Organizations:

The Milwaukee Brewers are encouraging fans to take part in the “Design A YOUniform” contest beginning Friday morning.

The contest invites fans to submit a design for the Brewers uniform to the team for a chance to win a trip to Brewers Spring Training 2013 where Brewers players will wear the winning design during a game.

“People have great ideas for how they would design an alternate uniform for the team, and this is the ultimate opportunity for everyone to have their say,” said Brewers Chief Operating Officer Rick Schlesinger. “Participants can pick their favorite colors, original logos, and script, or they can utilize elements of the Brewers current uniforms with their own unique twit. It’s literally a blank template and a chance for everyone to show off their creative sides.”

To enter, participants must use the Brewers’ design template, accessible on www.brewers.com/uniform or at the Brewers Team Store by Majestic at Miller Park.

Designs, which can be created digitally or by hand, can then be submitted at www.brewers.com/uniform or at the team store.

The contest begins Friday at 10 a.m. and runs through Thursday, Dec. 13. Each design will be judged by a Brewers committee, which will choose four final designs. The finalists will be announced on Tuesday, Jan. 15.

A fan vote and panel of Brewers voters will determine the official winner, who will be recognized during Brewers On Deck on Sunday, Jan. 27, at the Delta Center.
