Braun, Rodgers team up with Hunger Task Force on food drive

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun have partnered with SURG Restaurant Group to open 8-Twelve MVP Bar & Grill in Brookfield. Now, anyone participating in the Hunger Task Force food drive July 13 through July 23 is eligible to win an MVP Prize package featuring special items from Wisconsin’s two MVPs including a reservation at 8-Twelve during its grand opening.

The prize package will include an autographed Ryan Braun jersey, an autographed Aaron Rodgers jersey, the use of Ryan Braun’s suite at Miller Park for one of three 2012 Brewers games which includes 12 tickets but excludes the cost of food and beverage, a 50 inch LG Plasma TV donated by Global Sight and Sound and an invitation for two to the 8-Twelve MVP Bar & Grill grand opening.
Those interested in participating can drop off food donations at the Hunger Task Force, 201 S. Hawley Ct., Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. or at Ryan Braun’s Graffito, 102 N. Water St., Monday through Thursday 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. or on Sunday’s from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Participants can fill out an entry form or simply leave a business card. One winner will be chosen at random on Friday, July 23 once the food drive is complete.
