Braeger contributes warmth to those in need

Braeger Automotive Group, 4100 S. 27th Street, recently teamed up with Hope House, a local emergency and transitional living facility and community center, to offer free winter clothing for those in need.

New clothing, with a total retail value estimated at over $4,000, will be available to anyone who requires it at Hope House, 209 W. Orchard St.

Items that will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis will include coasts, hats and long underwear.

"Despite our cold business climate Braeger Automotive Group believes we all have an obligation to contribute to the warm-hearted spirit of generosity for which this city is known." Said Todd Reardon, president of Braeger. "We at Braeger are fortunate to remain in a position where we can contribute to the well-being of this community, and it is both a pleasure and our responsibility to do so."

Hope House has evolved since 1987 from a refuge for people needing a place to sleep, into a provider of complete services for the homeless and low-income individuals.

In addition to residential services, Hope House provides community outreach to individuals needing health care, food distribution, financial assistance, and educational opportunities for adults and children.
