Boerke Company and Richter Realty create property management group

Milwaukee-based commercial real estate brokerage The Boerke Company Inc. and Brookfield-based Richter Realty & Investment Inc. today announced the formation of Boerke Management Company.

The new Boerke Management Company will service the metro Milwaukee area and be led by Tom Richter, president of Richter Realty & Investment, along with his 12-person team.

Leadership from both companies said that they saw the new Boerke Management Company as a way to grow each of their firms, merge expertise, and to come under one unified brand that will be able to provide full commercial real estate brokerage, property management, receivership, project management, and consultation.

“The discussion has been going on for some time now, but after sitting down and seeing the current and potential work overlays that were there, it was a perfect fit,” said Richter. “Both firms needed to bring our client service offerings full circle, and assembling two companies with great reputations and high integrity was an excellent way to do it.”

The new management division will enable The Boerke Company to offer real estate consultation for industrial, retail, office, investment, and medical property owners/tenants, along with a full scale property management and receivership division.

“We have always had a great working relationship with Richter’s group, with an exceedingly growing client base at both companies, and our global Alliance with Cushman & Wakefield taking hold in the region, we knew this would be a perfect time to officially launch the joint group,” said Andrew Jensen, The Boerke Company’s managing partner. “Today’s commercial real estate client base is looking for a ‘one stop shop’ for their needs, and coupling Richter and his team’s expertise, property management, and development services with our growing and experienced team, really positions us as a leader in southeastern Wisconsin for all things commercial real estate related.”
