Boelter + Lincoln seeking applications for pro bono program

Milwaukee-based Boelter + Lincoln Marketing Communications will enter its 40th year this spring by donating 40 hours of pro bono services to an area nonprofit.

The agency is calling for nonprofit applications for its “40 Hour Work Week” program, which will award one organization support on a marketing campaign or project.

That support will be given by Boelter + Lincoln’s in-house staff over 40 hours during the week of Monday, March 23.

The “40 Hour Work Week” program is open to all Milwaukee-area nonprofits, according to Andy Larsen, partner, vice president and director of public relations at Boelter + Lincoln.

Applications, available at www.boelterlincoln.com/40hr-app, are due by Wednesday, March 11. A group of agency principals will then vet submissions and select the winning project.

Boelter + Lincoln is seeking a project or campaign that falls within one of its service “sweet spots” and within its capacity to complete pro bono work, Larsen said. The company, which John Lincoln launched with one part-time receptionist in downtown Milwaukee in 1975, has since grown to 25 employees and six partners devoted to advertising, web and digital services, social media and public relations.
