BMA honors marketing and advertising creatives

The Business Marketing Association – Milwaukee Chapter recently held the annual Bell Awards celebration at Potawatomi Bingo & Casino.

The Bell Awards recognizes area companies and agency partners that achieve excellence in the production of materials or development and execution of programs that promote products or services to a business audience.
This year’s theme was “Refrigerator Worthy,” was chosen based on the concept that mom always posted the best work on the refrigerator. At the show, awards were kept inside a refrigerator on stage before being presented to the winners. Keeping with the theme, attendees were served a “home cooked” meal, although it was prepared by professional chefs.
BMA awarded more than 90 awards in 31 categories.
Nelson Schmidt Inc., Milwaukee, was selected as the People’s Choice winner for the agency’s new brand platform re-launch of Speed Queen campaign for Alliance Laundry Systems.
Brookfield-based Bader Rutter and Associates took Best in Show for its Panoptix Interactive Wall at Greenbuild for Johnson Controls. The entry was described by one judge as “a beautiful merger of technology and design.”
Milwaukee-based AURUM received runner up in the Best of Show category for its Feed Your Soul entry created for the non-profit organization Feeding America.
