Black Chamber endorses Holloway
The Wisconsin Black Chamber of Commerce is endorsing Lee Holloway for Milwaukee County executive.
Holloway, who is an African American, is the county board chairman. He is among the candidates who will square off in the Feb. 15 primary. The top two vote-getters from the primary will advance to the April 5 general election.
Ruben Hopkins, who is president and chief executive officer of the Wisconsin Black Chamber of Commerce, will host a reception for Holloway on Friday, Feb. 11, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Wisconsin African American Women’s Center, 3020 W.Vliet St., in Milwaukee.
