BizTimes Milwaukee promotes editors

BizTimes Milwaukee publisher Dan Meyer announced on Wednesday that the company has promoted Andrew Weiland to editor and Molly Dill to managing editor.

Weiland replaces former executive editor Steve Jagler, who recently left the company. Weiland joined Small Business Times (the former name of BizTimes Milwaukee) as a reporter in 2003 and was promoted to managing editor in 2004. He has also covered the commercial and residential real estate beats for the publication since 2004. Prior to joining the company in 2003, Weiland worked as a reporter for three daily newspapers: The Northwest Herald in the Chicago area, The Sheboygan Press and the Monroe Times.

Dill’s promotion fills the position previously held by Weiland. She joined BizTimes Milwaukee as a reporter in 2011 and was promoted to associate editor in late 2013. She previously covered the manufacturing beat and currently covers the financial services beat for the publication. Prior to joining the company, Dill was a reporter for the Marshfield News-Herald.
