Mequon-based Eagle Technology Inc., has partnered with Nebraska-based Dataflo Consulting to bring the Maintenance Management and Real-Time Asset Tracking Solution to market. The partnership will integrate the two firms’ software applications for the health care facilities and bio-medical industry. Eagle’s ProTeus maintenance management solution gives hospitals, clinics and other medical organizations the ability to manage the maintenance, service and repair of assets and facilities while integrating in real-time with building automation systems. Dataflo’s mthree application leverages next-generation RFID technology to track mobile assets in real-time. Health care facilities can track items such as IV pumps, heart monitors, beds and wheelchairs, using mthree’s solutions and services. Both applications are delivered via the web offering convenience and accessibility.
Aurora Health Care
Aurora Health Care has been named one of the “most wired” health care providers by Hospitals & Health Networks Magazine. Aurora has been presented with the honor for seven consecutive years. According to the magazine’s analysis, the 100 most wired hospitals have higher patient satisfaction scores, lower risk-adjusted mortality rates and better results on other key quality measures due to information technology. Aurora continues to enhance its use of electronic medical records and at the new Aurora Medical Center in Summit, more than 90 percent of physician orders are entered electronically, according to Philip Loftus, vice president and chief information officer. The Most Wired Survey is conducted annually by Hospitals & Health Networks magazine and the journal of the American Hospital Association, which uses the results to name the 100 Most Wired hospitals and health systems. It focuses on how the nation’s hospitals use information technologies for quality, customer service, public health and safety, business processes and work force issues.

CIO magazine has announced that Milwaukee-based Foley & Lardner LLP is a recipient of a 2010 CIO 100 award. The 23rd annual awards program recognizes organizations around the world that exemplify the highest level of operational and strategic excellence in information technology (IT). The firm received this honor in large part for its budget management tool – a technology developed by Foley that provides its attorneys and clients with real-time data regarding actual fees incurred against budget, enabling its attorneys to manage work for clients efficiently and provide predictable pricing. This web-based tool provides data and reports for management of matters and fees and enhances communication and collaboration with firm clients.
