Bartolotta plans three restaurants at Mayfair Collection

Milwaukee-based The Bartolotta Restaurants plans to open three restaurants at the Mayfair Collection development in Wauwatosa, under a partnership with Phoenix Development Partners.

The Mayfair Collection is a mixed-use project that is being developed by Chicago-based HSA Commercial Real Estate northeast of U.S. Highway 45 and Burleigh Street. The first phase of the project, which opened recently, has 270,000 square feet of retail space including Nordstrom Rack, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Old Navy and Ulta Beauty stores.

A 45,150-square-foot Whole Foods store, a 144-room hotel and six restaurants are planned in the second phase of the Mayfair Collection development. HSA Commercial expects to break ground on the second phase of the project this spring with a planned opening for Whole Foods early in 2016. Proposed future phases of The Mayfair Collection include the development of multi-family housing, office space and medical buildings.

The Bartolotta restaurants planned at the Mayfair Collection are still in the planning stages, but possible concepts could include a modern diner, a beer-themed pub and a casual French bistro.

Initial plans call for the restaurants to be located close to Burleigh Street on the south side of the development. The restaurant openings are expected to be staggered from late 2014 to the summer of 2015.

“The Mayfair Collection is a beautiful development, and these new restaurants will be an outstanding addition,” said Joe Bartolotta, co-owner of The Bartolotta Restaurants. “We look forward to bringing these new dining concepts to the area and to being part of this jewel of Wauwatosa.”
