Barrett Lo partners with Dallas firm to form new property management company

Will start with Moderne, Emerald Row

Barrett Lo Visionary Development and Dallas-based Lincoln Property Co. announced the launch of Lincoln Boulevard, a new property management company that will serve Milwaukee and Wisconsin — starting with Barrett Lo properties.

The Moderne

The formation of Lincoln Boulevard marks the national property management firm’s entry to the Milwaukee market. Lincoln Property Co. currently manages around 200,000 apartments and has more than 5,000 associates, according to a news release. Beginning in February, Lincoln Boulevard will manage the Barrett Lo Milwaukee portfolio, including the Moderne in downtown Milwaukee and Emerald Row in Oak Creek.

Management duties will also extend to the 322-unit Couture high-rise on Milwaukee’s lakefront as well as the Parterre, the 240-unit project representing the second phase of Emerald Row. Barrett Lo has more than 1,000 units under management and preleasing activity.

The new company will work to expand its services throughout the southeastern Wisconsin market.

“This is an exciting new enterprise for Barrett Lo and for Milwaukee,” Rick Barrett, founder and CEO of Barrett Lo Visionary Development, said in the release. “We are excited to bring world-class property management services to our residents and to the Milwaukee market through Lincoln Boulevard. I can think of no better partner in this effort than Lincoln Property Company.”

Bruce Webster, senior vice president of Lincoln Property Co., said he is confident that Lincoln Boulevard “will be a game-changer for Milwaukee’s multi-family market.”
