Johnson Bank exceeds $3 billion in mortgage loans serviced
Johnson Bank recently surpassed the $3 billion mark in mortgage loans serviced.
The bank originates mortgage loans in nearly 60 locations throughout Wisconsin and Arizona. Johnson Bank is one of the very few mid-to large-size banks in Wisconsin that services all the mortgage loans they originate.
"Although there is a continuing trend to outsource mortgage servicing and sell mortgage loans to other servicers, our clients know that we retain our servicing and decisions are made locally by the people they know," said Bill Winkler, senior vice president and director of mortgage banking services for Johnson Bank. "This has been our approach throughout recent refinance booms and the current housing slowdown, and will continue to be as construction and purchase activity increase in the coming months and years ahead."
