The president should approve the Keystone Pipeline

The president has held up the Keystone XL Pipeline for far too long. This week, the Governor of Nebraska dismantled the last possible obstruction to this project that would spur the creation of thousands of jobs and improve our nation’s energy security. It is time for the President to put politics aside and place our national interest first.

National debt hits $16 trillion

Another year, another trillion dollars in debt. At least that seems to be the trend with President Obama at the helm. This month, the national debt surpassed $16 trillion. Only ten months ago, we had passed the $15 trillion mark. Our government is deep in the red and accumulating debt at an accelerating, and alarming rate.
