Anthony Cruz

Anthony Cruz, Ed.D., is the 11th president of Milwaukee Area Technical College, Wisconsin’s largest technical college and one of the most diverse higher education institutions in the Midwest. He began his tenure in July 2024. Dr. Cruz is driving a caring culture centered on equity and excellence that puts students first, and celebrates employees who provide exemplary service; welcomes direct input on major issues from students, faculty and staff; and strengthens connections to district residents, regional business partners and other educational institutions.
