Associated Banc-Corp bolsters Milwaukee leadership team

Associated Banc-Corp announced the promotion or hiring of three executives in the Milwaukee area market.
Karen Cullen has been promoted to senior vice president, lending compliance officer. In her new jobs, she is responsible for managing Associated Bank’s corporate compliance services such as consumer lending, mortgage lending and default and foreclosure services. Previously she was an assistant vice president, mortgage regulatory change manager. Cullen brings more than 20 years of experience to the position. She works out of Associated Bank’s offices at 330 E. Kilbourn Ave. in Milwaukee.
Jennifer Kern has been promoted to vice president, cash management product manager, where she is responsible for delivering treasury management products to customers through the private banking and business banking segments. She previously served as an assistant vice president in the same department. Prior to joining Associated Bank in February 2011, Kern worked for Marshall & Ilsley Corp. as a product manager, and she brings nearly 10 years of banking experience to her new position. She also works out of Associated Bank’s offices at 330 E. Kilbourn Ave., in Milwaukee.
Michael Bietz has been hired as assistant vice president, mortgage banker, where he is responsible for helping clients finance new home purchases, refinance existing mortgages and assist with residential construction loans. He previously was a residential mortgage district sales manager for M&I Bank and brings more than 25 years of lending experience to the position. Bietz will work out of three offices: 2645 N. Mayfair Rd., Wauwatosa; 10701 W. National Ave., West Allis; and 10708 W. Janesville Rd., Hales Corners.
