The Milwaukee area’s industrial space vacancy rate rose to 7.8 percent in the third quarter.

The Milwaukee area’s industrial space vacancy rate rose a bit during the third quarter, according to a report by Boston-based Colliers International. The area’s industrial space vacancy rate rose from 7.5 percent in the second quarter to 7.8 percent in the third quarter, according to the report.

The Milwaukee area’s industrial vacancy rate is still lower than the national industrial space vacancy, which rate rose from 8.44 percent in the second quarter to 8.71 percent in the third quarter, according to the report.
