AccessAbility division sold

Cudahy-based AccessAbility Home Medical & Rehab Products has sold its mobility division to Rocky Hill, Conn.-based Numotion.

“The addition of Accessibility’s three ATPs and experienced support staff will allow Numotion to strengthen its relationships with key referral sources throughout the Milwaukee area and allow us to better serve customers in need of Mobility equipment,” said Tim Havel, regional vice president of Numotion.

AccessAbility distributes mobility, respiratory and durable medical equipment including wheelchairs, scooters and stairlifts.

It was founded in 1994 and has a corporate office in Cudahy and two other locations, in Milwaukee and Glendale.

“The sale of our mobility business will allow us to focus on the (durable medical equipment) and respiratory product line, in addition to our affiliated company, Access Elevator,” said Jon Tevz, owner of Accessibility.
