As chief executive officer of fast-growing Wauwatosa-based insurance technology provider Zywave, Jason Liu relies on several tech tools to keep him productive and organized. Here are a few of his favorites:
Teams Mobile
โThis is an app for your phone that offers an almost laptop-like experience to do video conferencing and collaboration. Itโs very seamless and fully integrated into Microsoft Outlook and Calendar. I realize that many are still using Zoom, but Teams has really caught up and has advantages by tying into Outlook and the Microsoft product suite.โ
Apple Watch
โFor me, my Apple Watch is necessary for long runs before work or for business trips so I can run and still have access to email, text and phone. I like that I donโt have to carry my phone on a run. I also use it to listen to podcasts while traveling on business.โ
Tiny Scanner
โThis is a free app that enables you to use your phone as a scanner so you donโt have to buy or maintain a digital scanner. I use it for any paper docs I have to sign and scan. Itโs so much more convenient than the traditional scanner.โ
SAP Concur
โThis is a game-changer for those who remember the old days of copying receipts on a copier or fax. It offers the ability to auto scan in receipts and attach them to expenses, which is critical for those who travel a lot for business.โ
