The new Save A Lot store at 2322 W. Oak St. (just off of West Fond du Lac Avenue) on Milwaukee’s near northwest side replaced a former Lena’s Food Market. As a result, the building’s distinctive curve-shaped street façade was transformed. Updates include new curtain wall glazing, rectangular brick section and building materials and coloring.
The store opened in March 2018, but the current sign was added later.
The building is owned by Oak and Fondy LLC. The registered agent for Oak and Fond LLC is Gregory Martin, according to state records. The Martin family has operated Lena’s Food Market stores for decades.
