Kohl’s will award $3.2 million in grants to more than 300 nonprofit organizations across the country, the company announced today.
The Menomonee Falls-based retailer said the grant funding, generated by its Kohl’s Cares philanthropic program, will support organizations that work to improve the health and wellness of children and families. Each organization will receive a $10,000 grant.
“This Giving Tuesday, as an extension of our ongoing efforts to support family health and wellness, we’re thrilled to announce that we will be providing $3 million in grants to support organizations that champion the health and wellbeing of children and families,” said Michelle Gass, Kohl’s chief executive officer. “Our associates support their communities year-round by volunteering for local charitable organizations. This grant program is just one more way that we can pitch in to make a positive difference at the local level.”

- Adaptive Community Approach Program in Waukesha
- Boys & Girls Club of Fond Du Lac Inc.
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Barron County
- Domestic Abuse Intervention Services in Madison
- Food Pantry of Waukesha
- Gundersen Lutheran Medical Foundation Inc.
- Humane Animal Welfare Society
- Hunger Task Force of La Crosse Inc.
- The Women’s Center in Waukesha
- Waukesha County Community Dental Clinic
- YMCA of Marquette County
- YMCA of the Northwoods in Rhinelander
The company’s Kohl’s Cares program sells children’s books and toys and donates 100 percent of the net profit to charitable initiatives nationwide.
