Nominate your sites for BizTimes Milwaukee Honor Roll of Prime Leasable Space

BizTimes Milwaukee is once again inviting southeastern Wisconsin commercial real estate professionals to nominate their best leasable industrial, retail and office sites in southeastern Wisconsin for inclusion in the annual Honor Roll of Prime Leasable Space, which will be published on Nov. 12 in the BizTimes Milwaukee 2011 Commercial Real Estate & Development Book.
This will be the eighth annual production of the book.
The Honor Roll consists of three lists: (1) Prime Leasable Industrial Sites in Southeastern Wisconsin; (2) Prime Leasable Retail Sites in Southeastern Wisconsin; and (3) Prime Leasable Office Sites in Southeastern Wisconsin.
Individuals are asked to identify up to three prime listed properties for each of the lists.
The BizTimes editorial staff will then select at least one of your properties from each of the three categories for inclusion on the lists.
To nominate your sites, go to www.biztimes.com/honorroll. Deadline for nominations is Wednesday, Oct. 20.
The BizTimes Milwaukee 2010 Commercial Real Estate & Development Book, including the honor roll, will be unveiled at the annual BizTimes Milwaukee Commercial Real Estate & Development Conference, which will take place Thursday, Nov. 11, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Woodland Dreams Ballroom at the Potawatomi Bingo Casino in Milwaukee. The theme of this year’s conference will be "Milwaukee 2020." The conference will feature a panel of national experts who will discuss the dramatic changes Milwaukee has seen over the past 10 years and examine the changes that lie ahead in the next decade. To register for the conference and read about the featured speakers, visit www.biztimes.com/2020.
The conference will be emceed by Mark Eppli, Ph.D., professor and chair of Marquette University’s Bell Real Estate Program. In addition to Eppli, panelists in the program will include: Richard "Rocky" Marcoux, commissioner of the Milwaukee Department of City Development; Tom Rave, executive director of the Airport Gateway Business Association; Clay Nesler, vice president of global energy and sustainability at Johnson Controls Inc.; and Jill Morin, chief executive officer of Kahler Slater Inc. and author of a new book, “Better Make it Real: Creating Authenticity in an Increasingly Fake World.”
More than 500 people attended last year’s Commercial Real Estate & Development Conference. The companion 2011 Commercial Real Estate & Development Book also will be distributed to BizTimes Milwaukee’s 13,156 print subscribers.
