U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Janesville) will headline a town hall meeting of the Racine Tea Party on Saturday, Saturday, Sept. 11, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Racine’s Pershing Park.
In addition to Ryan, the event will feature conservative radio host Vicki McKenna, climate legislation expert & Congress of Racial Equality member Niger Innis, Pastor David King and more.
Racine TEA Party founder Lora Halberstadt said, “The event will show the politicians that people are paying attention to their misdeeds in office. November is coming and the people are putting these elected officials on notice. The Tea Party movement is not going away.”
Nancy Milholland Racine Tea Party coordinator said, “Our economy continues to drag and people are having trouble finding work or have seen their pay cut, yet the politicians in Washington and Madison keep spending money we don’t have. It’s about time they stop.”
