Journey House board of director and auction committee chair Julie Beres was named the 2010 M&I Bank volunteer of the year for her distinction in leadership and volunteer service to Journey House. Beres is a financial analyst for M&I Equipment Finance Company. Beres has been involved with Journey House since fall 2006. She has chaired the annual Journey to the Center of Your Heart Gala & Auction for the past two years, and has raised more than $165,000 to support programs and services. She has served on the board of directors since 2009.  M&I will donate $1,000 to Journey House in Beres’ name in recognition of her service.
