Pinnacle Foods, which operates a Birds Eye vegetable processing and packaging plant in the Town of Darien in Walworth County, is planning a $39.4 million expansion of the plant, including new production lines and distribution areas. The project is expected to create 127 jobs.
The Town of Darien has received a $1.3 million loan from the Community Development Block Grant – Economic Development Program, which the state Department of Commerce oversees.
