Innovation: Proprietary channel management software
Kenosha-based Vantage Point Corp. strives to set the industry standard for operational excellence in selling, fulfillment and support processes for its clients. With the help of its proprietary channel management software, the company does just that, and has experienced significant growth as a result.
Vantage Point provides IT and technology-related products for clients.
According to Ryan Sorensen, co-founder of VPC, the release of the internal proprietary software revolutionized national inventory awareness, order management capabilities, CRM processes, procurement procedures, quoting accuracy, and the technical support they could provide.
The company experienced a revenue increase of 408 percent from 2013 to 2014. VPC was named to Inc. magazine’s Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies and was also named to the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce’s 2014 Future 50, which recognizes the fastest growing companies in southeastern Wisconsin.
The company had seven employees in 2013 and served a customer base of just more than 10,000 clients. Thanks to the proprietary software deployed at VPC, in 2014 it added 16 sales representatives and served a customer base of more than 81,000 customers.
VPC leveraged the new software and its capabilities to chart new relationships with enterprise resources and partnerships, which increased internal sales competency, encouraged a more industry knowledgeable team and provided superior customer service for all of its customers, Sorensen said.
In August 2014, the company relocated to a new 5,760-square-foot facility in Kenosha. The new facility is three times the size of its previous location.
VPC plans to continue to grow by adding more employees and expanding into the international market.
