Committee will focus on Park East development

Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele will convene a meeting of a Park East Corridor Advisory Committee on Tuesday, June 19, at 9:30 a.m.

The roundtable discussion will take place in the Bradley Room at the Bradley Center.
An e-mail reaching out to the committee members to attend the meeting was sent today by Brian Taffora, the county’s economic development director.
The focus for the meeting will be to draw on the expertise and perspectives of the committee members to better understand how the city and county can creatively leverage their assets to create and implement a plan that will attract jobs and bring vitality to the Park East Corridor in downtown Milwaukee.
In addition to Abele, Taffora and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, the members of the committee include: Barry Mandel, Beth Nicols, Bruce Block, Bruce Westling, Supervisor David Bowen, Gary Grunau, Jill Didier, Jim Barry III, John Kersey, Joseph Murray, Jules Ledger, Marc Marotta, Mark Flaherty, Mary Perry, Alderwoman Milele Coggs, Alderman Nik Kovac, Pat O’Brien, Rob Henken, Rocky Marcoux, Scott Welsh, Stu Wangard, Supervisor Willie Johnson and Wyman Winston.
