Sunset Investment Co. recently purchased the 30,639-square-foot building at 2525 N. Mayfair Road, Wauwatosa, from MLG/2525 Limited Partnership (a group of local investors) for $3.95 million, or about $129 per square foot.
The two-story building is located across Mayfair Road from Mayfair Mall.
The building has 9,500 square feet of first floor retail space and 21,139 square feet of office space on the first and second floors.

The sale was brokered by Rachel Schmidt, Steffi Hahn and Andy Bruce of NAI MLG Commercial, who represented the sellers, and Alex Kasun of Gerald Nell Inc., who represented the buyer.
The building is about 96 percent leased, Hahn said. U.S. Cellular and Family Christian Book Store occupy the retail space.
