First Business Financial Services Inc. was recently ranked as the 15th top-performing mid-sized public bank in the country.
The ranking is based on performance of U.S. depository institutions with assets between $1 billion and $10 billion as of Dec. 31, 2011, and was featured in the May issue of the ABA Banking Journal.
The top 25 performers had an average return on average equity four times higher than that of all mid-size institutions.
First Business Financial Services, Inc. was the only bank in Wisconsin, Illinois or Minnesota to make the list of top performers.
