The Marquette University College of Business Administration’s Center for Supply Chain Management and the Wisconsin Procurement Institute on Tuesday, March 27, will present a two-part, daylong series of presentations and panel discussions focusing on how Wisconsin and northern Illinois firms can tap into federal contract opportunities.
The event, which will begin at 11:30 a.m., will be held at the Wisconsin Club, 900 W. Wisconsin Ave.
Part one, “Navigating the Politics of Federal Procurement,” will begin at 1:30 p.m. The session includes two panel discussions and a keynote presentation by Brian Detter, deputy assistant secretary of the U.S. Navy for expeditionary programs and logistics management. A reception for attendees, Marquette students, faculty and guests will conclude the session at 4:30 p.m.
The evening program, “The Federal Supply Chain: Current Trends,” also will feature two panels and a networking opportunity. The event will conclude by 8 p.m.
