The 56,000-square-foot Highland Park, Ill. compound owned by Michael Jordan failed to sell at auction Monday after bidders did not meet its $13 million reserve price, a spokeswoman for the NBA legend said.
The nine-bedroom home, called Legend Point, was built in 1995 and includes 17 bathrooms, a 15-car heated garage, a regulation-size indoor basketball court and a billiards parlor with the original doors from Chicago’s Playboy Mansion.
Jordan first listed the 56,000-square-foot home for $29 million last year before slashing the price. He now primarily lives in Charlotte, N.C. and Florida.
