St. Francis Children’s Center, of Glendale, has announced honorees to be saluted at its 2013 Awards Banquet, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
The annual awards recognize three area leaders who have made a considerable impact on their community. This year’s awards program has been co-chaired by Curt Culver, chairman and chief executive officer of MGIC, and Daniel Minahan, president and chief operating officer of Continental Properties, Inc.
The children’s center will present Todd Teske, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Briggs & Stratton Corporation, with its Children’s Service Award. Greg Marcus, president and chief executive officer of The Marcus Corporation, will be honored with the center’s Community Service Award. And Harris Turer, owner of the Milwaukee Admirals, will be recognized with the Humanitarian Award.
All three honorees will receive their awards at the banquet, scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 5, at The Pfister Hotel.
